Suzana Jašić was born and raised in Pazin.

She was elected Mayor of Pazin in 2021.
Mayor of Pazin is Renato Krulčić. He was born in Pazin on June 1, 1970. After completing his education in Croatia and Slovenia, Mr Krulčić became involved in politics in 1992.
Since 1993 he has been a member of the Istrian Democratic Assembly (Istarski demokratski sabor-IDS). From 2000 to 2009, Mr. Krulčić was employed in the Municipality of Gračišće as the head of the Administrative Department.
