Adriana Krnáčová

Mayor of Prague is Adriana Krnáčová. She was born in 1960 in Bratislava, Slovakia. She graduated from the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Bratislava. She later earned a MBA from the University of Michigan.

She worked as a director of communications in several large companies. In 2014 she was elected mayor of Prague. She is also the first female Mayor of the Czech capital.

Her work aims at the improvement of urban transport, as well as adjusting the cost for it, making it more affordable. Her work also includes preserving the historical centre of the city.
