The event takes place for the fifth consecutive year
Wondering where to go on a winter holiday trip? Now, there are plenty of reasons why Dubrovnik should be your choice.
“Winter Saturday Mornings in the City” is an event organized for tourists visiting the Croatian city during winter and spring. Every Saturday, starting from November until the 30th of March 2020 Dubrovnik Tourist Board is providing free guided tours of the old city with an English-speaking guide. This winter free tours are organized for the fifth year in a row, with a great response.
The tours start at 10 am in front of the Tourist Information Centre Pile, located at Brsalje 5. The aim of the initiative is to encourage tourist visits during the winter months.
As part of the tour of the city with a professional guide, the Dubrovnik Tourist Board is also conducting a free performance for all visitors by the folklore ensemble FA Linđo beginning at 11:30 am in front of the Cathedral (if it is raining, the performance will be cancelled).
It is necessary to register for this free tour the day before, on Friday, by 6 pm at the Tourist Information Centre Pile. The offer is targeted for individual visitors, not for groups.
This exciting free program is a great addition to the various entertainment programs of Dubrovnik offered during the winter months. Dubrovnik is a town with rich historical and cultural heritage. The town is a living museum, protected by UNESCO World Heritage status since 1979. The rich history, geographic location, mild climate and traditional hospitality have made Dubrovnik a recognizable location on the world tourist map - not only in the summer season.
