For the first time in Bucharest - shared electric scooters

The project was realised in cooperation with Bucharest municipality

The innovative, urban mobility provider – Lime, has already arrived in the Romanian capital, Bucharest. Inhabitants and guests of the city can use the shared electric scooters to easily move around in sustainable way, announced the municipality. The new scooters are available in all major parts of Bucharest - near subways, public institutions, parks, commercial centres, theatres and cinemas. The scooters are a brand new alternative for people to get around the city. It is a real first and last kilometre solution, helping citizens create a link with other methods of transport to and from work, school or meetings.

In cooperation with Bucharest municipality, the company brought a solution to some of the challenges of the megapolis, such as congestion. The new scooters are a fun, convenient and are a smart way to re-imagine the urban lifestyle.

To use Lime you have to download the app and find a scooter on the map. Using it will cost RON 3 to unlock and every minute of riding will be an additional 60 bani. The company is committed to safety and comfort and urge riders to always wear helmets.
