Jean-Marc Pujol

Jean-Marc Pujol was born in 1949 in Mostaganem, Algeria. He is a lawyer specializing in tax law and corporate law. He has been the Mayor of Perpignan since 2009 (re-elected in 2014). Formerly, he was a deputy mayor in charge of urbanism (1989-1993), urbanism and finances (1995-2009) and a municipal councilor (1993-1995). In 2014 he was Elected President of the Perpignan Mediterranean Urban Community.

Apart from politics, Jean-Marc Pujol is passionate about sports - he is a team champion of France in underwater fishing.
