Mícheál MacDonncha

Mayor of Dublin is Mícheál MacDonncha. From 1990 to 1996 he has worked as an editor of a Sinn Fein Party magazine. Later, he worked as a political advisor. From 2011 to 2014 he worked in the Finance Committee of the City Council. In 2017 he was elected mayor of the capital. He reports that the highest priority in his development program will be the construction of homes on land owned by the Dublin City Council. Changes are also envisaged in the conditions for buying a home. Another focus in his program is the improvement of infrastructure, efficient waste collection and recycling, and others.
