Maurizio Mazzucchelli

Mayor of Morazzone is Maurizio Mazzucchelli. He has always lived and worked in Morazzone and is married with two children.

Mazzucchelli is one of the founders of the group “The country I would like” (Il Paese che Vorrei). In June 2009 he was appointed Councilor for Budget and Planning of the Municipality of Morazzone. In May 2014 he also held the position of Deputy Mayor.

Appointed by the President of the Court of Varese, he has been a member of the Discipline Council of the Order of Architects of the Province of Varese since 2014. Mazzucchelli resigned from this position in March 2019 in order not to add other commitments to the administrative one for which he was currently a candidate. Maurizio Mazzucchelli was elected mayor of Morazzone on 26 May 2019.
