Mayor of Trento is Alessandro Andreatta. He was born on 4 February 1957 in Trento.
In 1995 he was elected city councillor of Trento. In 1998 he was appointed municipal councillor for town planning, private construction and toponymy.
On 8 May 2005 he became deputy mayor of Trento, after which he was elected as mayor of the city in 2009. He has been occupying the post ever since.
