Mayor of Piatra Neamț is Andrei Carabelea. He was born on 28 May 1983 in Piatra Neamț.
He graduated from the Faculty of History in Iași, at the oldest university in Romania. He has been an active member of civil society for 12 years.
Andrei Carabelea was elected as a mayor of Piatra Neamț on 27 September 2020.
Dragoș Chitic
Mayor of Piatra Neamț is Dragoș Chitic. He was born on 8 November 1967. In 1993 he graduated from Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iași at the Faculty of Construction specialization. From June 2008 to March 2013 Chitic served as Vice-mayor of Piatra Neamț. He continued in his role until December 2014, when he became Vice-mayor designated with first attributions. He served in this role until June 2016 when he was elected Mayor of Piatra Neamț.
