Mayor of Șimleu Silvaniei is Septimiu Turcas. He was born on 6th September 1968 in Crasna, Sălaj County, Romania.
He graduated from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca in the field of engineering. He is mayor of Șimleu Silvaniei since June 2004, having had 16 years experience in the administration area.
On 27 September 2020, Septimiu Turcas was re-elected mayor of Șimleu Silvaniei.
