The transport operator of the Brussels Capital Region distributes messages of support amid the lockdown
In addition to serving those who absolutely need to go to work during the lockdown, the public transport operator of Brussels has a surprise for the local residents or those who work on its territory.
STIB gives them the possibility to send and deliver personal messages of support to the door of those who they miss the most but are unable to see in person due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
The Voices of Brussels
An old relative, a friend, a colleague or even a healthcare worker – your support can reach everyone within the Brussels Capital Region, thanks to the Voices of Brussels bus of STIB. Just make sure to send them your thoughts by Messenger at @LASTIB, together with the precise address and the names of the person the message is intended for.
You can record your audio message or submit it in writing, in both cases the special electric bus will have it delivered to the doorstep through a loudspeaker. All messages will be delivered, regardless of the style, as long as they are polite, inoffensive and sent in time with all the supporting information.
“In this extraordinary period, we try as much as possible to keep in touch with our loved ones, even if it is not always easy. The morale of Brussels residents is important to us; that's why STIB decided to give you a little boost with "Voices of Brussels"! Send us your voice message via Messenger and our bus will deliver your sweet words to the person you miss the most!”, invites the company.

The Voices of Brussels is running on 16, 17, 21, 22 and 24 April between 5 and 8 p.m. It travels on a different schedule each day, depending on the location of the recipients. The stops with times of arrival are published on the Facebook page of STIB in advance so that the persons who expect messages can make sure not to miss the arrival of the bus.
