L'Europe vient d’observer un an depuis le début du premier confinement causé par le coronavirus. Pour marquer l’occasion, l’Université Libre de Bruxelles a décidé de préparer une exposition intitulée « Musée temporaire du confinement ».
Après plusieurs mois de préparation, l’ouverture de l’exposition est prévue le jeudi 18 mars, sur le territoire du campus universitaire de Solbosch.
L'ULB Culture avait lancé un appel à projets ouvert à la communauté de l'ULB, l'invitant à rassembler les créations réalisées lors du confinement et à les présenter dans une exposition éphémère. Les œuvres reçues révèlent l'impact de la crise sur nos modes de vie, nos liens sociaux et notre créativité, relate le site web universitaire.
L'exposition contient une centaine d’objets, parmi lesquelles des compositions musicales, des récits, de la danse, de la photographie, de la peinture, du dessin, des œuvres écrits, des créations artistiques, des vidéos, ou encore des objets du quotidien inattendus ou détournés, qui sont devenus des symboles du confinement. L'objectif est donc de recréer le lien social, en traversant ensemble les moments difficiles, de construire une histoire partagée du temps passé en isolement.
Ces œuvres et objets seront mis en scène dans l'exposition « Musée temporaire du confinement-ULB », à partir du 18 mars 2021, dans l'Espace Allende du campus de Solbosch. La collection sera continuellement élargie, grâce aux contributions de la communauté universitaire, sans date de fin prévue pour le moment. De plus, un espace séparé sera réservé et équipé pour permettre aux visiteurs d'enregistrer leurs propres témoignages de l'époque de la crise sanitaire.
