El pasado fin de semana, un buen ejemplo de colaboración entre diferentes niveles de gobierno vino de la región autónoma española de Murcia. El gobierno regional y los municipios han acordado crear una plataforma en línea que servirá como herramienta para compartir prácticas, experiencias y alianzas útiles en el campo de la arquitectura y la construcción sostenible. Esto está destinado a apoyar los objetivos de la UN SDP y la Agenda Urbana Europea 2030, así como la EACS regional (Estrategia de Arquitectura y Construcción Sostenible, adoptada el año pasado).
La plataforma propuesta surge del deseo del Gobierno regional por la "renaturalización" de hogares y ciudades. Este término se refiere al retorno a materiales de construcción más sostenibles, así como al uso de materiales reciclados que promueven la eficiencia energética. Otras medidas que se vislumbran para el futuro del diseño arquitectónico incluyen la creación de jardines en las azoteas y jardines verticales que ayuden al parque de edificios de una localidad a contribuir positivamente a purificar el aire.
La implementación exitosa de la nueva estrategia en el sector de la construcción no sería posible sin el papel activo de las administraciones municipales, de ahí que se acuerde la creación de la plataforma como muestra tangible de buena voluntad y cooperación entre los diferentes niveles de gobierno.
“Queremos dar mayor protagonismo a los municipios en la fase actual de desarrollo e implementación de la Estrategia de Arquitectura y Construcción Sostenible”, ha confirmado Jaime Pérez Zulueta, Director General del Departamento de Territorio y Arquitectura. También destacó la importancia de la comunicación interinstitucional para destacar ejemplos exitosos de buenas prácticas en el campo, así como la promoción de la circularidad en la industria de la construcción.
