Este pasado fin de semana, el Ayuntamiento de Alicante ha comenzado la instalación de cámaras termográficas en las entradas de los edificios municipales más importantes de la ciudad con el objetivo de garantizar una mejor protección de la salud de los empleados de la administración urbana. El contrato, que tiene un coste de 32 000 euros, asegura la instalación de 21 cámaras de este tipo en lugares donde hay un movimiento y concentración diaria de personas.
Los sistemas de infrarrojos con cámaras son portátiles y también son capaces de medir la temperatura de grupos de personas en movimiento, lo que significa que ni siquiera tienen que detenerse para realizar una medición. Si se detecta que la temperatura de una persona supera los 37 grados Celsius, se emitirá una señal de advertencia.
En ese caso, el personal que atiende la entrada a la instalación debe investigar la situación. Si la temperatura detectada supera los 37,50 no permitirán el ingreso de la persona y le aconsejarán que se ponga en contacto con su médico personal. Si la medición está en el rango de 370-37.40, la medición se repetirá hasta 5 veces con la persona descansada y a la sombra. Si permanece dentro de estos números, no se le otorgará acceso.
"Las cámaras son importantes y refuerzan la seguridad como una medida más que garantiza una mayor protección tanto para los ciudadanos que acceden al Ayuntamiento como de los funcionarios frente al Covid, y se une a los protocolos ya establecidos desde el inicio de la pandemia", ha dicho Antonio Peral. La web municipal informó que los primeros edificios en recibir los nuevos sensores fueron la Hacienda, el Servicio de Atención Integral al Ciudadano y Urbanismo, con más instalaciones que se agregarán a esa lista en breve.
