Desde el 15 de marzo, hay un nuevo centro de atención al ciudadano (Punt TMB) en funcionamiento en el vestíbulo de la estación Sagrada Familia del Metro de Barcelona. TMB, la empresa operadora, calificó la incorporación de la nueva oficina como pionera en ciertos aspectos. Entre otras cosas, será el primero en ofrecer información en lengua de signos catalana. El nuevo espacio es parte de una renovación más amplia de la estación muy visitada, que es la puerta de entrada a uno de los sitios turísticos más populares de la ciudad: la catedral de Gaudí, La Sagrada Familia.
El diseño del nuevo espacio de servicio se ha pensado para proporcionar la máxima comodidad y accesibilidad para todos, incluidas las personas con discapacidad auditiva y visual.
Los clientes con problemas de audición cuentan con la tecnología SVision, que cuenta con pantallas con servicios en las lenguas de signos antes mencionadas, entre ellas el catalán. También hay un anillo inductivo que se conecta al sistema de altavoces de emergencia y al equipo de micrófono individual para facilitar la audición.
Para las personas con deficiencias visuales, existe el sistema Navilens que funciona de manera similar a un código QR y puede ser reconocido por un teléfono inteligente, sin embargo, con la ventaja de que esto puede suceder desde una mayor distancia y sin necesidad de enfocar la cámara en las señales. .
El nuevo centro está ubicado en el vestíbulo de la recientemente renovada estación de la Sagrada Familia, que también ha sido remodelada de manera no solo para refrescar su aspecto sino también para permitir una mejor accesibilidad y flujo peatonal.
Se han instalado flechas de ruta visual en el suelo, se han sustituido las barreras de entrada por puertas correderas y los ascensores que conducen directamente desde el nivel de la calle a las plataformas ya están en funcionamiento desde 2008.
