La ciudad de Bilbao quiere ver una digitalización de mayor alcance de su sector hotelero. Con este objetivo en mente, la web municipal informó sobre la próxima conferencia online organizada por las autoridades, que tendrá lugar el jueves 22 de abril a las 9:30 am hora local.
El evento, denominado “Digitalización en el alojamiento. Soluciones tecnológicas contactless: check in, check out”, cuenta con la participación de Bilbao Ekintza (Turismo Bilbao) e Innolab (incubadora de empresas digitales), entre otras empresas, y forma parte del programa “TurisTech Bilbao”.
La jornada está dirigida específicamente a los pequeños y medianos operadores que trabajan en el sector de la hostelería ya que se considera que para promover una imagen global de Bilbao como ciudad digital, moderna y conveniente es necesario que sus visitantes puedan contar con este tipo de espacios fiables. experiencia sin importar dónde elijan alojarse.
El evento se centrará en la intersección entre tecnología y seguridad y cómo estos son beneficiosos para los turistas. La idea es destacar y mostrar ejemplos de soluciones sin contacto ya que se han aplicado como parte de los protocolos de seguridad en el sector del alojamiento.
Los participantes tendrán la oportunidad de aprender más sobre las nuevas tendencias digitales en "alojamiento smart" y el potencial que la implantación de tales innovaciones tecnológicas puede tener para el desempeño empresarial.
La presentación principal será sobre el proyecto Smart Hotel, desarrollado en colaboración con Amadeus. Este será presentado Álvaro Carrillo de Albornoz del Instituto Tecnológico Hotelero, quien hablará sobre cómo se puede impulsar la competitividad a través de transformaciones digitales y de sostenibilidad. Otras empresas del sector mostrarán ejemplos sobre las soluciones tecnológicas que ya están presentes en el mercado.
