France starts building its Battery Valley with opening of new gigafactory

The ceremony took place in Brussels on 9 November
At an official ceremony on 9 November in the building of the European Parliament in Brussels, Vice President Dita Charanzova presented the European Citizen's Prize to the Chairman of Euro Advance Association, Boyan Tomov, in recognition of the achievements of TheMayor.EU for the promotion of better mutual understanding and integration among the cities and citizens of the European Union.
Together with Mr. Tomov, various representatives of winning projects from other EU member states were awarded at the ceremony for the years 2020 and 2021.

TheMayor.EU is an online space where local authorities from the European Union can showcase their work, successful projects and initiatives free of charge giving them visibility to a wider European audience. The platform's aim is to stimulate the exchange of good practices and innovative solutions and to show the EU's contribution to the development of local communities.
TheMayor.EU includes hundreds of examples of successfully implemented European projects that support the social, economic and technological development of European cities and regions, as well as constructive solutions to the challenges they face - climate change, pollution, depopulation, technological backwardness, protection of cultural heritage and others.
Since its launch, www.TheMayor.EU has been operating as a non-profit initiative - the public can read and the municipalities can present their achievements completely free of charge.
