As of the beginning of the month of August tourists in Brno have the chance to benefit from a more advantageous BRNOPAS offer. The public authorities announced earlier that the holders of the pass will also benefit from free access to the public transport network of the city.
The pas also gives access to top five attractions in the Czech city, namely - the gardens of the most famous Brno villas (Stiassni, Löw-Beer, Tugendhat and Jurkovič), the Old Town Hall tower, the Brno underground, St. Vitus Cathedral Peter and Paul and Brno Zoo. In addition, the tourist pas guides you through the city and helps you identify the most interesting places. One of its main advantages though is the considerably decreased waiting time for tickets to Villa Tugendhat that otherwise can take as long as half a year. The price of the day pass is CZK 290 for adults and CZK 190 for children. Purchase it online here.
Another convenience for the tourists is the opening of another information centre at the Airport of Brno. A more practical and representative centre will be located in the connecting corridor between the arrivals and departures hall, replacing the current window stand. In a larger and open space, it will enable to expand the assortment of souvenirs. In short, it will be an ideal place to get information when you arrive and buy a gift when you leave Brno, according to the tourism representative Kristýna Černá.
