Esto es parte de un proyecto europeo más grande que engloba cuatro regiones distintas
Ya es febrero y el Gobierno de Cantabria ha informado a través de su web oficial que esta semana verá el inicio del proyecto TetRRIS (Investigación e Innovación Responsable Territorial y Especialización Inteligente) en su territorio. Se llevará a cabo a través de SODERCAN, empresa pública responsable del desarrollo regional en la comunidad autónoma española.
La primera fase del proyecto piloto (totalmente financiado por la Comisión Europea) se centrará en la investigación de las partes interesadas relevantes, pero las comparaciones se evaluarán constantemente con los resultados de otras tres regiones europeas, que se espera que se creen como parte del proyecto: Tampere (Finlandia), Karlsruhe (Alemania) y Szeged-Timisoara (Hungría y Rumanía).
La innovación en todos los ámbitos de la vida es una de estas palabras de moda que hacen que las mentes piensen, la gente hable y las administraciones financien. De alguna manera, siempre ha sido parte de la historia y el progreso de la humanidad y hoy esto no es diferente. Sin embargo, en la última década ha habido un esfuerzo concertado para pensar en las implicaciones éticas, morales, legales y sociales de realizar investigación e innovación.
La Comisión Europea tomó nota de eso y decidió insistir en que la investigación y la innovación se llevarán a cabo de manera responsable y que esto se estandarice antes de que pueda brindar su apoyo a nuevas iniciativas. De esa manera nació Investigación e Innovación Responsable, o RRI, como un término y también como una idea que habrá que tener en cuenta a la hora de diseñar dichos procesos.
En Cantabria, por ejemplo, se anunció que la primera fase de TetRRIS supondrá la realización de entrevistas en profundidad a diferentes actores, como clusters, CEOE-CEPYME, universidades autonómicas, Centro Tecnológico CTC y start-ups con el fin de conocer el perfil del ecosistema de innovación en la región.
A las autoridades les gustaría saber primero qué piensan estos actores sobre los desafíos que tienen por delante y cuáles creen que serán las implicaciones sociales de sus investigaciones e innovaciones para los ciudadanos.
