Over 800 participants gather the 20th edition of the Masquerade Festival in Stara Zagora. Join the colorful crowd of typically Bulgarian masked characters on March 18 at 10.30 in the beautiful Bulgarian city. The organizers of the Festival are the Stara Zagora Municipality, the Regional History Museum, Center for Support for Personal Development, Folklore Society and Community Center “Nikolay Liliev 2005”.
For one of the most colorful and attractive festivals, 23 groups from all over the country arrive in Stara Zagora. Each of the participants in the masquerade will present a tipical hometown custom. A competent jury will evaluate the performances. One of the attractions in the event will be three-meter masks.
