Consumer confidence in Luxembourg at record-high levels

Consumer confidence in Luxembourg is at record-high levels as of January 2018. The economic situation in the country proves satisfactory to citizens. Unemployment concerns are also very low, standing at -8 out of 20 points, again a record level. 

The financial situation for many citizens has also improved. The results are measured based on expectations, current economic situation, unemployment rate and personal financial situation. 

The economic indicator of consumer confidence measures how citizens and consumers in a state feel about the economic situation in their country. It also takes personal financial situation into account. Consumer confidence increases or decreases based on whether the country's economy expands or contracs.
