Reservations for Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel start on 18 May
Disneyland Paris has just announced the date of its reopening – the attraction park will restart accepting visitors from 17 June. As of tomorrow, 18 May, the reservation process for the hotel dedicated to the comic art of Marvel will reopen.
Closed to tourists since October 2020, due to the coronavirus restrictions in France, Disneyland had first reopened as a vaccination centre on 24 April.
On Monday 17 May, Disneyland Paris published a press release announcing its reopening to the public one month later. The document reassures that Disneyland Park, Walt Disney Studios Park, Disney’s Newport Bay Club Hotel and Disney Village will operate with enhanced health and safety measures.
This includes the limitation on the number of daily tickets sold, which will be available through an online reservation system. Registering on the said system will be mandatory for annual pass holders, to reserve a time slot for their visit. Wearing face covering and respecting social distancing remains the norm.
Safety restrictions might make it necessary to modify or remove altogether some shows, depending on the existing rules at a given moment. However, iconic attractions like Star WarsTM: Hyperspace Mountain, The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror or the family-friendly Peter Pan’s Flight and Ratatouille: The Adventure will still be accessible.
Furthermore, as of tomorrow, it will be possible to book a night at Disney’s Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, the only hotel in the world dedicated to Marvel artwork. It, in turn, will start accepting visitors from 21 June.
“We have all been dreaming of this moment,” said Natacha Rafalski, President of Disneyland Paris. “The moment we can reunite and enjoy unforgettable moments with our family and friends. When Disneyland Paris reopens, our Guests will be able to enjoy the outstanding experiences we are known for, from iconic attractions and new heart-warming Character moments to unique interactions with our Cast Members and even a few surprises along the way.”
On top of the special offers and compliments for early hotel bookings, Disneyland will be welcoming visitors with new attractions, more greenery and flexible reservation options.
