Driverless buses on Stockholm's roads

The first vehicles operate in the tech district

The first driverless buses hit the roads of Stockhom on Wednesday. They are now operating in the northern tech district of the Swedish capital. Two vehicles were put to use to connect Kista mall and Victoria Tower. The buses go at 20km/h and use GPS and other sensors.

Despite being driverless, the buses can still be manually operated by a drvier who can take contol in case of emergency. The buses are free and can take 12 people.
