Gli European Masters Games sono un evento sportivo internazionale che si svolge ogni anno a Torino. Quest'anno si svolgerà dal 24 luglio al 4 agosto. L'evento ha lo scopo di promuovere l'attività fisica e varie iniziative che valorizzano lo sport e promuovono la conoscenza del territorio. Mira anche a socializzare atleti che hanno compiuto 30 anni, attraverso gare sportive, intrattenimento e varie attività culturali.
Il contesto in cui è organizzato l'evento sportivo è molto importante. La città di Torino offer un ricco e vario patrimonio culturale e artistico come residenze reali, piazze e aree protette del patrimonio UNESCO. Le competizioni sportive si svolgeranno in luoghi prestigiosi come parchi, percorsi panoramici e luoghi storici del territorio.
Gli European Masters Games Torino 2019 sono aperti agli atleti di tutto il mondo. Quest'anno l'evento aspetta 5.000 atleti. Ci saranno 30 sport, dal tradizionale calcio e basket, al badminton, nuoto e golf. Le location saranno oltre 60 a Torino e nelle aree circostanti.
