Join this online event and find great stories about city transformation
The European Commission and the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) are pleased to invite you to their online event “Green and digital transition. The role of Regions and Cities”. The virtual discussion will take place on Tuesday 26th January, 10:30-12:30 CET and will gather EU experts, local practitioners, and opinion leaders, debating on the role of regions and cities in green and digital transformation.
The event is organised in close cooperation with the European Association of Regional & Local Authorities for lifelong learning (EARLALL), the German delegation at the CoR and the Basque Government and is supported by the German Presidency. It will focus on the role of regions and cities in ensuring apprenticeships are up to speed with the green and digital transition.
It will be a good opportunity to explore how regional and local authorities are supporting apprenticeships in providing those green and digital skills that will be more and more required in the coming years.
Norbert Schöbel, Team leader at DG Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion will play host, while Sandra Parthie of the German Economic Institute will moderate the expert discussion.
The selection of speakers in the two panels is also impressive and includes representatives of the EU, regional and local administrations, researchers, etc. Discover what is there to look forward to next Tuesday:
