The climate is changing, so will the architecture in Bratislava
In the former industrial zone on Račianska Street in Bratislava, a long-time defunct parquet factory will be replaced by a new residential complex named Guthaus. The climate is changing so should the architecture all around Europe. Therefore, developer Corwin works on creating an iconic building with solutions to climate change. The Slovak company Corwin together with its partners, the architects from Vienna’s AllesWirdGut, focus more on humans and their needs and how the housing will work after it is complete.
Smart solutions are interlaced throughout the development, from the garden with its ingenious rainwater harvesting system to the green roofs on the top floors. A special feature is the maintenance-free ceiling heating and cooling system, the most natural form of climate control for humans. This radiant system offers more efficient room temperature control combined with eco-friendliness and lower operating costs.
