La Domenica Metropolitana di aprile offre un ricco programma di visite e attività nei musei cittadini di Firenze. Ai giovani e agli adulti è dedicata l’iniziativa speciale e misteriosa ‘Un palazzo sicuro’ ma anche le classiche visite a Palazzo Vecchio, Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Santa Maria Novella, Museo Bardini, Cappella Brancacci e Fondazione Romano. Altri appuntamenti sono in programma alle mostre temporanee ‘Leonardo e Firenze’ (Museo di Palazzo Vecchio) ed ‘Exit Morandi’ (Museo Novecento). Nell’ambito delle celebrazioni per la nascita di Cosimo e Caterina de’ Medici (1519-2019), si segnala la ‘Sunday Lecture’ dedicata a Cosimo I de’ Medici e alla Controriforma, a cura di Domizia Weber. Alle famiglie con bambini sono invece riservati il racconto ‘Per fare una città ci vuole un fiore’, la ‘Favola della tartaruga con la vela’ e gli atelier d’arte in Palazzo Vecchio, il laboratorio ‘Blu. Piccole storie di colori’ al Museo Bardini, il percorso ‘A casa Medici’ in Palazzo Medici Riccardi e l’attività ‘Natura morta, la vita degli oggetti’ al Museo Novecento.
Sono inoltre in programma le visite accompagnate al Museo del Bigallo alle ore 10 e alle ore 12 (Piazza San Giovanni 1, prenotazione obbligatoria) e la visita guidata, ore 15.30, al Museo della Misericordia (Piazza Duomo 19, prenotazione obbligatoria).
Si segnala anche l’accesso gratuito al Museo Zeffirelli-Centro internazionale per le Arti dello Spettacolo, dalle ore 10 alle 18 (Piazza San Firenze 5, non è necessaria la prenotazione).
Non c’è bisogno di prenotazione per la visita ai Musei Civici Fiorentini che presentano i seguenti orari di apertura:
