Taller gratuito proporcionado a establecimientos de hostelería que quieran incluir esta opción en sus menús
El Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola ha anunciado que ofrecerá curso gratuito a los hoteleros del municipio andaluz que quieran incorporarse a la red 'Fuengirola sin gluten' y así diversificar su oferta de producto a los visitantes. El taller tendrá lugar el 10 de junio y permitirá a los asistentes adquirir conocimientos teóricos y prácticos en ese campo para poder reconfigurar sus cocinas y menús para dar cabida a los clientes que padecen intolerancia al gluten.
Los asistentes tendrán la oportunidad de interiorizar las pautas que deben seguir en la cocina para adaptarlas a las personas celíacas. Estos se basan en cuestiones como la disposición de todos los ingredientes en la despensa, el uso de ciertos materiales o cómo evitar la contaminación de los alimentos.
Este paso hacia la consideración de las necesidades de los turistas intolerantes al gluten es importante ya que según las estadísticas que informa la web municipal de Fuengirola, el 4% de la población española puede estar en esa categoría, aunque 3 de cada 4 no lo conocen.
Son personas que tienen problemas digestivos, que pueden afectarles de diferentes formas, como a la hora de quedar embarazada. Con el objetivo de concienciar y visibilizar esta enfermedad, el Ayuntamiento fue pionero en su provincia con la firma de un convenio de colaboración con la Asociación de Celíacos de Málaga y la creación de la red 'Fuengirola sin gluten', hace más de seis años.
“Formar parte de esta red comercial permite dotar al establecimiento de una categoría adicional, ya que asegura a los comensales un momento de ocio tranquilo, con una oferta de platos adaptados a todas las circunstancias. Además, supone para el restaurante una mayor promoción, favoreciendo la fidelización de los clientes que, por diversas cuestiones, buscan una oferta gastronómica adaptada a sus necesidades”, ha comentado Francisco José Martín, diputado provincial y concejal en Fuengirola.
Una vez finalizada la formación, las empresas recibirán un certificado que les permite formar parte de la red de establecimientos especializados.
