La Xunta de Galicia (España) ha anunciado el inicio de la tercera edición de la iniciativa educativa “Yo soy inspector@ urbanístic@”. Está organizado en colaboración con el Colegio de Arquitectos de Galicia (COAG) y tiene como objetivo fomentar el conocimiento y la apreciación entre los escolares de los entornos urbanos en los que se encuentran viviendo.
Un total de 80 alumnos del IES de la localidad de Ponte Caldelas han sido los primeros en participar este año en la actividad. Consiste en que inspectores de la Agencia para la Protección de la Legalidad Urbanística (APLU) visitan escuelas de toda Galicia, desde ahora hasta finales de junio, y enseñan la importancia del patrimonio urbano y la arquitectura de una forma accesible y divertida.
Mediante material didáctico específico, los alumnos participantes trabajarán de forma creativa y divertida en el aula la complejidad del territorio y el entorno paisajístico, analizando los elementos que los componen.
También profundizarán en conceptos como el patrimonio natural y construido, las infraestructuras, el medio ambiente, el cambio climático, la huella ecológica o las actividades y construcciones en el territorio local.
La idea es que los jóvenes interioricen la importancia de estos temas en su localidad y se sientan informados al respecto. Esta educación constituirá así un eslabón fundamental para que las sociedades presentes y futuras hagan un uso sostenible y responsable de los territorios habitados.
Las actividades propuestas están dirigidas por inspectores de urbanismo, que desarrollan sesiones presenciales en los centros participantes adaptadas a los niveles y edades de los alumnos de infantil, primaria y secundaria a través de talleres teatrales y sesiones teórico-prácticas.
Este año los tutores de la actividad visitarán 20 colegios de otros tantos municipios de Galicia.
