C’est l’une des nombreuses mesures visant à sensibiliser le public au cyclisme en toute sécurité
Dans le but de sensibiliser la population à la sécurité des cyclistes, en particulier en hiver, la Ville de Liège a organisé une action majeure pour améliorer les conditions cyclables. À partir du 21 janvier, les autorités locales offriront gratuitement des kits de lampes rechargeables USB avant et arrière aux résidents intéressés. La batterie des lampes peut durer jusqu'à 16 heures indépendamment.
L’action est organisée à Velo Point Guillemins et durera jusqu’à épuisement des stocks. 650 kits seront distribués à ceux qui arrivent en vélo. Il s’agit de l’une des nombreuses mesures prises par la ville pour promouvoir le cyclisme raisonnable parmi un réseau croissant de cyclistes. À cet égard, c'est Asbl Pro Vélo qui est le responsable du service sur le territoire de Liège. Entre autres, ceux-ci offrent des conseils et des informations aux cyclistes actuels et potentiels, ainsi que la maintenance des vélos, et surtout: ils ont pour mission à vous apprendre à faire du vélo.
