Lime officialy announced the launch of a new subscription service in the Romanian capital which is designed to help commuters and everyday scooter riders get the most out of the e-vehilcles. Since the launch of the micro mobility option in Bucharest  last May, it proved a huge success with hundreds of thousands of users.

The new subscription service has been available since 15th January, alongside other countries across EMEA region. LimePass is created to meet the needs of a fast-growing number of micro mobility riders, simplifying commutes and rewarding those who often use electric scooters in a heavy traffic city such as Bucharest.

According to Lime regional statistics, the biggest percent of riders are residents and 40% of all Lime weekly rides are taking place during peak commuting hours. Bucharest is one of the cities across Europe with the worst car traffic. Bucharest residents spend a lot of time in traffic jams every day.

The Lime Week Pass in Bucharest costs 18 RON (3,77 euros). The price depends on how often a rider uses Lime, in this redard the subscription can pay for itself in as little as 2-3 days.

The Lime scooters are available in all major parts of Bucharest - near subways, public institutions, parks, commercial centres, theatres and cinemas. The scooters are a new alternative for people to get around the city. It is a real first and last kilometre solution, helping citizens create a link with other methods of transport to and from work, school or meetings. Now the new LimePass service offers a more cost-efficient way to move around the city.
