Después de un cierto retraso causado por la crisis de COVID, el trabajo de construcción ha pasado el punto medio
Diego López, el concejal de Obras, Infraestructura, Parques y Jardines en la ciudad de Marbella, indicó que la construcción de la nueva biblioteca municipal está ya a medio terminar. Ayer, mientras se le mostraban los trabajos en curso, estimó que la biblioteca puede abrir puertas en el primer trimestre del próximo año.
Se espera que la biblioteca municipal sea una de las más grandes de Andalucía. Estará ubicada en el Parque de La Represa en la parte central de Marbella, donde ocupará unos 1400 metros cuadrados.
Lo interesante de este proyecto es que ofrecerá un espacio cultural que estará en armonía con su entorno. De hecho, la idea para la biblioteca es contar con secciones internas y externas. Por un lado, esto busca proporcionar una mejor visibilidad y por otro, está diseñada para ofrecer la sensación de libertad y relajación en el cálido clima del sur.
El aspecto acogedor del edificio se logrará gracias a su ubicación, a la que se podrá acceder "ya sea a través de carriles bici o paseando y posibilitando, además, que el usuario pueda coger un libro y leerlo en el parque,” explicó el concejal López.
Él es también de la opinión de que cuando se complete la biblioteca se convertirá en uno de los sitios destacados de la ciudad. Además de su exterior acogedor y llamativo, el interior estará equipado con áreas especializadas para todas las edades, incluidos los más pequeños.
Asimismo, se ofrecerá una sala, que se puede adaptar para diversos fines, salas de multimedia, áreas de lectura y deposito. Ahora que las etapas iniciales de la construcción se han completado, los residentes de Marbella podrán observar cómo la nueva biblioteca comenzará a tomar forma de manera más rápida.
