According to a research by McKinsey, an international management consulting company that has collected public data and interviewed about 400 people for each of the areas studied. The research takes into account 5 factors: availability, costs, efficiency, convenience and sustainability of public and private transport.
For 3.2 million inhabitants there are about 3 thousand cars, 16 thousand bicycles and 100 electric bikes sharing. For this category, only the fleet in the street is counted last year, while the new operators entering the market in 2018 have not yet been calculated. The large availability has changed part of the habits of the residents. 12% of respondents have already given up their own car and 8 per cent think they will do it in the next few years.
