Cracovia Maraton is the biggest running event in the city and in Poland in general, and it takes participants past some of her most famous and beautiful historical monuments. That’s as well the motto of the event – “Through history”. The length of the marathon route is 42.195 km and each kilometer along the route will be marked. The Participants are required to finish the race within 6 hours.
The 17th PZU Cracovia Maraton is organized by the Municipality of Krakow – Sports Infrastructure Management Board of Krakow. Last year, there was a record number of 5615 runners out of 5757 who started the marathon and managed to finish it on time. The start and finish will be located on the Krakow's Main Market Square.
