Con eso, la ciudad quiere implantar la idea de espacios de tráfico para coches, micromovilidad y peatones
Tíncer es un distrito relativamente nuevo y pequeño que se encuentra en el suroeste de Santa Cruz de Tenerife. A principios de esta semana, entró en las noticias locales gracias a los planes del Ayuntamiento de implementar una solución que responda a las tendencias demográficas allí y la forma en que afectan a la movilidad.
El plan es extender y ensanchar el carril bici existente en el distrito y convertirlo en un carril vial adecuado para micromovilidad, equipado con sus propias marcas distintivas, características de seguridad y estacionamientos. En esencia, eso crearía tres tipos de carriles de tráfico allí: uno para vehículos, uno para dispositivos de micromovilidad y otro para peatones.
La redacción del proyecto ha finalizado, aunque solo se licitará en el primer trimestre de 2022. El renovado carril de Vehículos de Movilidad Personal se extenderá por 3 kilómetros y facilitará el tránsito entre una parada de tranvía en La Galega hasta el Insular Centro de Atletismo. El carril discurrirá, junto con un carril peatonal paralelo, por la parte central de la Avenida Los Majuelos.
La intervención aparentemente ha sido motivada como respuesta al auge de las bicicletas y patinetes, dispositivos que son los preferidos por los residentes más jóvenes. Y los jóvenes sobran, dado que el nuevo barrio ha atraído familias. Estos cambios demográficos han provocado un cambio en el panorama de la movilidad allí.
La renovación del carril incluirá un nuevo diseño pintado en color azul (el mismo que el escudo de armas de la ciudad), así como la inclusión de marcas y características de seguridad. Hay puntos donde el carril peatonal cruzará el carril de la micromovilidad por lo que habrá indicaciones, como aceras pododáctiles, que también ayudan a reducir la velocidad.
Además, habrá zonas de amarre donde los ciclistas podrán aparcar sus bicicletas o patinetes, situadas en ambos extremos del carril.
