The start of the summer season is celebrated at the “Magical night of Senses 2019” in Valmiera with music, food and a light show
The city of Valmiera is set to open the summer season at the Gauja Steep banks Park of Senses on the 4th of May – and everyone is invited to partake in the symphony of lights, colours, sounds and of course – flavours. The programme of the event includes enjoying the work of musicians playing all sorts of music in different parts of the park. The performances include the band “Time Dog” and singer Endy Alexander as well as musicians from the Valmiera Music School and Yamaha Music School and the instrumental ensemble “The Saviours”. The event’s food will consist of local delicacies that are to be supplied by local restaurants, pizza places and cooks. But perhaps the selling point of the event is the lightning show that will encompass the whole forest, creating a truly magical atmosphere.
You will be able to purchase tickets for the event starting on the 9th of April, at a reduced price of €8. On the 10th, the price will be increasing to €10 and purchasing tickets at the event itself will cost you €13. Of course, the event will be free for children up to 6 years old and for the disabled.
You can find more information for the event here.
