On 17 July 2020 the Bulgarian capital will play host to an international gathering under the name Education from A to #. The Innovative School. Mayor Yordanka Fandakova will accompany Commissioner Gabriel in the John Atanasoff Forum at Sofia Tech Park where the event will take place following strict hygienic measures of controlled access.
These are the kind of questions which experts from various fields and sectors will seek to analyze. Bulgarian media representatives from Economic.bg, NOVA TV, Dir.bg and Kmeta.bg will act as the organizers and moderators aiming to encourage a dialogue between state institutions, the private sector and non-governmental organizations, discussing relevant topics related to the educational system.
The expert opinions of school principals, university rectors and representatives from European and Bulgarian institutions will be heard, as well as those of the business entrepreneurs offering technological solutions.
The accelerated digitalization of schooling, caused by the COVID-19 crisis, has raised a number of issues regarding the field of e-learning. Building a common long-term strategy, hearing all parties in the process, discussing ideas and proposals for concrete solutions that would work for all stakeholders, are among the first steps towards improving the quality of education and building up resilience in the face of future challenges.
