The traffic authorities tap into some psychology hacks to train road users for the new reality
The measures should be in place by the spring or summer 2019
In 2013, Estonia became the first country in the world to open a nationwide electric vehicles fast-charging network. Since then, launching an ambitious and pioneering program to encourage the use of electric cars, the government has also heavily subsidized electric car purchases. Recently, the Ministry of the Environment announced that it will restore the subsidy for the purchase of electric cars, but this time exclusively for the businesses.
The measures should be in place by the spring or summer 2019. The size of the subsidy would be to the tune of 5000 Euros per vehicle, and a cap would apply to the number of vehicles that can be purchased with the subsidy.
