Tallinn with a new language and cultural centre

The aim of the centre is to help non-native speakers to develop their language skills and participate in the society more fully

A new language and cultural centre, the Estonian Language House, has opened in Tallinn. The aim of the centre, is to help non-native speakers of Estonian to develop their language skills, participate in the society more fully and get to understand better the Estonian culture. The Estonian Language Houses are organized by the Integration Foundation and their activity is financed with money from the European Social Fund and by the Estonian Ministry of Culture.

The centre goes far beyond formal language learning. The centre in Tallinn offers full services in learning Estonian, with practical opportunities like language cafes, tandem learning and different events that enable language skills to develop fast. Native speakers of Estonian who wish to practice another language are also welcome to the centre.
