The park will improve immensely the life quality of those living in the area, their number exceeding 27 thousand. Moreover, it will be important for Krakow as well, as the district of Czyżyny where it will be built is a central one. The cost of the investment will amount to PLN 10.5 million. What is more, the project for the new park is to be implemented within the framework of the civic budget of Krakow. The participatory budgeting scheme of the city enables residents to submit their suggestions and participate directly in the decision-making process when it comes to the allocation of the part of the city's budget meant for the implementation of resident-submitted ideas.
