Hundreds of events are awaiting locals and tourists hungry for Irish culture. The County Council backs with marketing support
Limerick has just released a 32-page long guide into local festival events. Astounding number of happenings are taking over the Irish county before the end of the year, which will showcase how creative and innovative the locals are. More than 100 events for all ages are already in preparation which will surprise both locals and tourists and will make them fall in love with Limerick. There is something for every taste.
But this all would not have been possible without the support by County authorities. The festival programme is backed by Mayor of the City and County Cllr James Collins and the public body provides free promotion for the events, included in the guide. Laura Ryan, Head of Marketing & Communications with Limerick City and County Council confirms: “We provide a free service to festival organisers throughout Limerick by promoting their events through a comprehensive listing on Limerick.ie, our official guide to Limerick. This new guide compliments that service and our digital marketing campaigns … It allows a greater promotion and marketing of all of these festivals, making more people aware that they are taking place and ultimately help them grow…”
For those who are planning on organising event there, do not hesitate to reach out to the authorities at Limerick.ie
For the tourists amongst you, get ready for: Choral, Game, Kindness, Tattoo, Writers, Swimming and (much) more festivals at Limerick: eat, see and do.
