Once it has properly taken off in London, the plan is to launch Yonda tours in other major cities around the world
Recently, London gained another attraction. Unlike alternative sightseeing tours, now tourists can explore the city’s world-famous landmarks and little secrets, – in a smart cabrio led by a charming audio guide. The talking car entertains its clients with fascinating stories and nuggets of information, while the clever, specially-developed Yonda sat nav guides them along the easy-to-follow route.
The tour starts in Park Lane in the heart of London. The route pass through exclusive Mayfair and St James's, the vibrant streets of Soho and Covent Garden, the iconic history of Trafalgar Square and Whitehall and the splendour of Westminster and Buckingham Palace. The tour is 90 minutes and the price varies between 60 and 90 GBP (respectively for a tour with 2 or 4-seater). By request, there is a Yonda driver that could be booked. For now, the tour is provided in English, but the founders are planning to launch other languages soon.
