Êtes-vous un fan de jeux vidéo? Aimez-vous conduire? Si oui, cette nouvelle application est faite pour vous: SIMBUS permet aux utilisateurs de tester ce que c'est que d'être chauffeur de bus dans la Région de Bruxelles tout en offrant une nouvelle expérience touristique.
Lancée par la Société de Transport Intercommunale de Bruxelles (STIB), l'application s'adresse aux futurs conducteurs désireux de rejoindre l'équipe de l'entreprise. SIMBUS est destiné à tester leurs capacités de conduite et leurs réactions de manière ludique et à indiquer aux joueurs s'ils sont préparés à devenir conducteurs de bus ou au contraire - s'ils ont besoin de plus d'entraînement.
L'application présente trois niveaux de difficulté, correspondant à trois lignes de bus existantes utilisées par la STIB - la route 71 pour le niveau facile, 36 pour le niveau moyen et 12 pour le niveau le plus difficile. Il est prévu que de nouvelles lignes de bus seront ajoutées prochainement. En jouant à SIMBUS, nous comprenons qu'un chauffeur de bus employé par la STIB doit être âgé d'au moins 21 ans, titulaire d'un permis de conduire B, avec une connaissance fonctionnelle d'une deuxième langue, ainsi qu'une attitude commerciale.
Outre les compétences de conduite, la capacité de s'adapter aux besoins des passagers est testée - cela comprend l'ouverture et la fermeture des portes, réagir à l'apparition inattendue de personnes sur la route, le respect de l'itinéraire et des arrêts prédéfinis, etc.
SIMBUS est disponible gratuitement pour Android et iOS en anglais, français et néerlandais.
