Il Carnevale di Venezia è una celebrazione unica nel suo genere che incorpora il passato e il presente con un fascino tradizionale locale con molti eventi all'interno degli eventi. Tra questi, ci sono la Festa Veneziana di due giorni con le sue tipiche regate mascherate, il Concorso per il miglior costume mascherato e numerose sfilate iconiche.
Quest'anno il Carnevale di Venezia inizia sabato 8 febbraio e continua fino al 25 febbraio. L'inaugurazione ufficiale del Carnevale di Venezia sarà sul Rio di Cannaregio, il quale sarà trasformato in un vero palcoscenico d’acqua con uno spettacolo con migliaia di spettatori, in cui le strutture galleggianti trasferiranno il tema del Carnevale in acqua: "Il Gioco, l’Amore e la Follia". Lo spettacolo è gratuito per residenti e visitatori di Venezia e sarà in due rappresentazioni alle 19:00 e alle 21:00.
Il programma proseguirà domenica 9 febbraio con il corteo acqueo delle Associazioni Remiere e tour enogastronomici con le specialità veneziane. Il magico spettacolo serale porterà musica, ritmo e gioia, offrendo momenti unici.
In occasione dell'evento di apertura del carnevale, il Comune di Venezia ha preparato un piano di sicurezza specifico, che stabilisce ogni giorno le misure di sicurezza nonché le regole comportamentali e le procedure di evacuazione. Il municipio suggerisce a tutti i partecipanti allo spettacolo, stare lungo la Fondamenta del Rio di Cannaregio. Il Comune raccomanda anche di arrivare con adeguato anticipo. Inoltre, è possibile impostare percorsi a senso unico o apportare altre modifiche al traffico pedonale.
Da anni, il Carnevale di Venezia è un attraente esempio di perfetto mix di tradizione, cultura e divertimento, offrendo una possibilità di divertimento per i visitatori di tutte le età di non perdere.
