Prepare to be amazed by the exquisite spaces crated within the framework of this original initiative
The International Garden Festival is held between May and October in Ponte de Lima, the oldest vila in Portugal. From November to May, the gardens are dismantled and the new edition is prepared with all the bustle of construction. The gardens selection is object of evaluation by a jury after an international competition. Dedicated to a different topic every year, a wide array of national and international projects apply to this festival. “Climate in gardens” is the chosen theme for the 14th edition of the International Garden Festival in Ponte de Lima.
This event brings together artistic creativity within the exhibition of 12 temporary gardens that are renewed each year. Unique in Portugal, innovating in concept, this event attracts landscape artists from all over the world to contribute to the better understanding of art in gardens. The registration for the 2019 edition of the International Garden Festival with a theme "End of the World Gardens” is already open.
