Chandrakant recently graduated from the Master's in Law & Technology programme at Tilburg University, in Tilburg, the Netherlands. His main focus is on data protection and privacy law especially in the context of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Digital Service Act.

He believes that we need a robust data protection regulation response coming from the EU as a whole in order to combat solely automated data processing that infringes the right to privacy of data subjects and prevents discrimination and disinformation that tend to emerge from algorithmic endorsements on online platforms.

Chandrakant participates in Read Twice – an EU-funded project that targets young people and aims to counter disinformation and fake news by enhancing their skills to critically assess information, identify vicious and harmful media content and distinguish between facts and opinions, thus improving their media competencies.
