Doris Šimundić is a 3rd year student of Communication sciences, and Philosophy and culture at the University of Zagreb. She’s participated in many projects involving the role of media within society and exploring the connection between politics and media. She’s also been working for the Centre for Culture and Cinema for the last couple of years.

In her view, every community will benefit from journalists who are well-informed and passionate about their field of work.

Diris participates in Read Twice – an EU-funded project that targets young people and aims to counter disinformation and fake news by enhancing their skills to critically assess information, identify vicious and harmful media content and distinguish between facts and opinions, thus improving their media competencies.
