Josip Šarić

Mayor of Otok is Josip Šarić. He was born on June 1, 1968 in Otok. He is a traffic engineer by training and volunteer for the Homeland War (a member of the special police unit "Tigers").

Šarić is the mayor of the municipality of Otok since age 25 (starting in 1993). He also served as Councilor of the County Assembly, President of the Chamber of County Councilors at the County Assembly and was a member of the County Council. In addition, he was Assistant Minister at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.
