Uldis Sesks

Mayor of Liepāja is Uldis Sesks. He was born in Liepāja in 1962. He studied at Liepaja school № 6. Sesks graduated from the Latvian Academy of Agriculture in Jelgava with a degree in mechanical engineering. Before becoming a mayor, Mr. Sesks was a racer and businessman. In 1997, Sesks was elected the mayor of the Liepaja and reelected to this position in since then. He is the Chairman of the Liepaja Special Economic Zone Authority, the Liepāja Party (at the end of 2004 he established the party), the Liepaja Development Fund and a member of the Rotary Club.
