Vergil Chițac
The Mayor of Constanța is Vergil Chițac. He was born on 10 September 1962 in Istria, Constanta county.
He graduated from the Military High School. Between 1981 and 1986, he specialized in Naval Architecture, in the Faculty of Ships at the University of Galați.
He is the Head of the Romanian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.
Decebal Făgădău
Mayor of Constanta is Decebal Făgădău. Mr. Făgădău was elected the Mayor of Constanta in June 2016. Previously, he was Mayor ad interim of Constanta from May 2015 to June 2016, Deputy Mayor of Constanta from February 2009 to April 2015, Local Counselor of Constanta City Council from June 2008 to June 2016 and General Director of Constanta Natural Sciences Museum Complex.
